The idea that not killing your brothers and sisters is such a simple one I wouldn't even know how to begin to convey it to another person. Really how do you sit someone down and explain to them killing bad safe neighborhoods good? Its such a simple concept that anybody with even a modicum of human intelligence should be able to grasp yet it consistently eludes these nikkas.

Breh, do you do gang outreach in your community? Yes or no? Do you even know why these dudes are killing each other in the first place?

That's something you report : that's why guys like him keep doing shyt they need to know there are consequences to his actions . I don't live in Harlem, and I moved out of Brooklyn a long time ago. It's your responsibility to work with the people in your community to make your community better.

I live in Atlanta now, and I work with a few organizations trying to fix problems we see here. It's not my job to fix the problems in your community, that's your responsibility. No one is going to take your concerns seriously if you won't even talk to your own family about the shyt.

Just in the exchange I've had with you in the last 30 minutes let's me believe you're not even remotely serious about the discussion.

The idea you think the black community leaders are as you described is what let's me know you're not even involved in any community organizations. Half the dudes in the meetings with me are hood nikkas with gold in their mouths and tatoos. The 3 men who started our organization are barbers. You have organizations like the 100 black men (who have branches all over the country) who are comprised of engineers, entrepreneurs, doctors, and lawyers (I know this because I've been to there meetings and know these dudes).

Like I said, you obviously feel the black male leadership in your community is lacking. Are you willing to take on a leadership role to fix the problems that you see?

You're talking about the leadership I'm talking about the people they're trying to lead. The fact that these problems still exist is proof positive that the leaders are not reaching the people effectively. Because these nikkas don't want to be reached they want to listen to love no thotties while dancing with other nikkas smelling like cheesy feet, playing Madden and 2k. You bring up statistics of black on black violence decreasing but when people are in the streets there's no appreciable difference, people still feel unsafe. And women are still being harassed and in a lot of cases violently victimized.
