That question isn't hard. Everybody and their mom knows that they would get backlash for saying "all lives matter"...it happened to Martin O'Malley. And say what you will about Hillary Clinton but she isn't some political novice who gets rattled or is unprepared. She would have come back with "black lives matter" and then started talking about meeting with the mothers of people who had been killed by cops as a way to take advantage of the question.
Hating her shouldn't make you underestimate her political savvy.

You pretty much summed it up. This is why there were moments such as when the older Black women in the audience shook her head when Bernie was talking for absolutely no reason. I wish those older Blacks would do their research and stop being ignorant about the internet and actually look to see what Hillary and her policies are as a whole.
