Keep laughing fakkit. What's funny about you having a white boss and managers? :umad:You nikkas try to act tough on here, but tomorrow you'll be all "Yessuh Boss Man" to your white bosses. That's why i don't take you seriously. Still under white bosses and management, but get online trying to talk shyt to other black men. Foh.

Keep being a crab ass fakkit though, it won't change your situation.

This is dumb because socioeconomics and representation have no correlation. Asians don't own shyt in Hollywood and still care and none of you bitter betties can refute that point.
Stay mad.
Clown nikka.

Ignore the various Asian media sources ,
Ignore the popularity of the Asian novel,
lazily compare the reactions to a movie between a "positive socio-economic standing" group and a group that's trying to socio-economic improve,
then proceed to apply the same wishful outcomes/certainty to both groups after they watched a fictional movie

Most Asians are not "crazy rich" and so the movie DOES have the ability to act as a motivator or inspiration to the many, very middle class and lower class Asians that populate North America

Sorry, the sane of us know that socioeconomic revolution can't be built on the back of one solitary movie but that doesn't mean we can't find enjoyment or attain inspiration from it. Aspiration economics is a real thing in my view

Just because you might not see it in you lifetime, it doesn't means the effects of positive representation are negated.

Claim that there's no socio economics and representation correlation, but then proceed to force a wishful correlation brehs

it's cool that there is a movie about a black superhero and I'm going to see it tomorrow, but it's just a fukking comic book movie. I'll seen people talking about they had never see that much black excellence on the screens and they are going to name their son t'challa. That shyt shows an inferiority complex and reeks of craving white acceptance "omg Disney is making a movie about black ppl we have made it yaaaaas"

we are in a system of white supremacy and this movie will not make a drop in the bucket of change. we act like abused children politically. if i want to see a black hero I can look on the fukking mirror
Exactly. It's whole families dressed up in African attire to go see this fictional movie. I don't get it because it's movies like Selma about real life heroes this attention could have been focused on.

Harry Potter fans dress up in Hogwarts gear and go to the movies and have a good time

Star Wars fan (as miserable and over critical they are) dress up in Star Wars cosplay and go to the movies and have a good time.

But we can't do the same and go to the movies and have a good time :snoop:

This is why we cant have nice things
