Yeah but when you don’t like people because of the color of their skin then that’s a problem. These companies will hire:

the white nerd
The white goth
The white geek
The white recluse
The white outgoing person
The white leader
The white non-college graduate
The white college graduate
The white GED holder
The white post grad
The white not qualified but we gonna take a chance
The white follower
The white liberal
The white conservative
The white vegan
The white vegetarian

...but when it comes to African-Americans then they wanna be all stringent about cultural fit. What “cultural fit” means is “can we tolerate this nikka around the office”? Is he going to say, do
, and eat things that make us have to deal with his Blackness or are we going to be able to ignore his skin because he acts just like us. This is definitely prevalent in liberal circles where they have to pretend to like people other than white.

This is an overlooked part of White Power called called White self-love.
It's hard for lot of us to recognize because we deal with self-hate.

When White people pick their movies or pick their employees they look for themselves because they love to see themselves.
If we expect White people to empower us and lift us up as Black people, we are lost.

The brushstrokes are too broad. A company the size of Google is going to see a lot of variance in the types of people they hire. Ultimately it's going to come down to the direct / hiring manager and recruiters involved in each process.

She's not wrong; Google, just like most organizations, is just going to hire an essentially "White" candidate under every other metric.

If someone grew up in the Chicago suburbs, went to Andover, then MIT, was in the same White fraternity as the hiring manager, and gets hired; they're a "White" candidate with a Black face. They aren't bringing "diversity" to the organization by any stretch of the imagination.

Are you dumb outside of Howard- top law firms and Big 4 accounting firms are not recruiting heavily at HBCU's.

Anyone familiar with Howard knows that majority of Howard students come from Black upper middle class families- in white areas. These are the black people who live in White areas but want there child to experience a top black hbcu- the cost of tuition alone tells you that.

People at Howard- already come from that type background.

Anyone familiar with Howard knows alot of students there never attended majority black high schools or lived in Majority black areas until they got to howard.

Also Howard Law school has plenty of immigrants, african, indian, west indian, arab- not culturally black american.

This isn’t true actually. Contrary to popular belief a overwhelmingly majority of Howard University students are lower income. Many black students from upper middle class families go to white schools
