But I agree. About 2/3 of the black people in these companies be so corny, they truly do try to hire black folks who make them comfortable, this also includes hiring gay black men. 3 of the 6.5 black men at my company are gay, and the black dude we just interviewed was a flaming fruitcake. But at least there are some black dudes, there in only one other black chick and she’s the office manager in NY...,smh

So is it really that far of a stretch that people who hold the same interests, went to the same schools, and got the same degrees would be similar regardless of race? It’s like black people are the only ones that aren’t allowed to have depth. Everybody has to be a certain way or else they’re not a “real” black person.

I share interests with the greater student body I went to school with, and I’m still a very culturally black person. is it too much to ask that they get comfortable with black people who are happy to bring their culturally black interests and customs to work instead of only hiring the most assimilated? You can be both.

if you wanna pretend like the black kids raised in all white environments with no ties to black culture or history are bringing the same diversity to a workplace as someone who came from a black environment then entered “other” environments via college or work, you’re lying to yourself.

I've definitely been around it, and pretty much got let go from a job because I wasn't with it. Many of these white folks don't care about black folks just trying to do their job and go home. You have to play up to the way they want you to act. I can't do it. I've found my lane, and I'm cool. I've got to be me.

It looks amazing and controls are good but the story is bad. It's boring, unorganized and full of tech language I didn't understand. I honestly quit half way thru. I wouldn't recommend buying it. If you can get it free go ahead and try it out.
