That's why you have many economies that are built on agriculture and yet most people are taught to value white collar jobs, that aren't available most of the time. Skilled tradesmen in the past were often looked at just like menial labour workers. Making it meant wearing a suit to work... In Kenya especially because of British culture folks used to love talking about high class and low class people. Perceptions that are based entirely on your job education etc.
