racism not so much. over here, it's chinese vs everyone else. We are foreigners and we're all painted under the same brush.

are cacs worshipped. sometimes, sometimes not. The chicks with white fever get burned so quick and often by years end she realizes the game and is far more cautious. it's becoming less and less as they realize the bulk are just teachers not saviors. The chinese are becoming very rich and middle class so that whole assuming all whites are rich stuff is quickly going out the window. chinese women have money now.

chinese men, do not respect the cac at all. the chinese are beating that ass. cacs get beaten up left and right, shyt be cray. If it were 1 on 1 they could hold their on, but, since this is china, and the chinese are VERY nationalistic, it turns into 'us vs them' fairly quickly and that one guy will get his ass kicked by EVERYBODY. If the numbers are even between chinese and foreigners, they never ever try anything. I honestly never seen a 1 on 1 fight unless the numbers are even, otherwise, if it's a handful of cacs and they get caught up, they must flee or feel 10,000 lu kang kicks.

never. I'm a veteran expat, and I give off that vibe. nobody ever wants to fight me, most people want to buy me drinks and protect me but them fresh out of college kids come in here, thinking they're gonna run shyt..they get that chow mein special real quick.

with africans they be on some africans don't get pushed around in Guangzhou for example, too deep, too united, don't get me wrong tho, the chinese over there are waaay hardened compared to chinese from other areas (think cacs in south africa compared to other places) being around africans will harden that skin, but all in all they don't play with africans. africans are united. if they get jumped, the next weekend that venue is going to be 3 shades darker like someone brought the eclipse. . esp the muslims like somalians, kenyans, them east africans, they bring the jihad, next thing you know you got pakistanis and arabs in the cut with them. nigerians are deep too.

most americans just stay in the cut, it's mostly them cocky cacs or europeans that be getting that work. be getting bottled and molly wopped.

theres only 1 cac over here that puts in work. He's like an old 56 year old Fonz. wears a leather jacket, has a raspy voice, dude looks like a war vet. This nikka be knockin nikkas out cold, I mean layin dudes out, like they're on the ground trying to make a snow angel, I seen dude lay out 2 chinese cats, them hooks were swung like a thor hammer, all them chinese were like . he's well known, and most chinese know he loves laying them out, so they rather not be 'that guy' going to sleep. He looks like Chuck Norris without that beard, he's canadian and gives off a vibe like he's here running from something back home.

How's the food? Is there any significant differences in the cuisine within the different regions of the country?

now this is a good question.

the food is real good. I have not even seen american chinese food yet, not 1 orange chicken. I don't know where that shyt comes from. My province specializes in seafood since it's a coastal city. So we have bomb prawns, oysters, crabs etc. Chengdu is real good, they're hot pot and spicy food specialists. Guangzhou is where the nasty shyt like scorpions and all that. They eat everything in south china.

South China is grimey as you can tell. That's where the shorter, fast talking chinese are from. I live in the North, they're taller, more light skin and regal looking.

I spent a day in Macau during a visit to Hong Kong last year. I've never seen so many people ball out of control. So many couples under 30 years old, walking around the casinos holding huge shopping bags from LV, Gucci, Dior, etc.

never been to the west. I think it's considered country side, and that would be near tibet. it's ethnically different and where most of chinese ethnic minority stay, I hear it's got beautiful variety landscapes, not as many large cities etc. they have a ugyur minority there, few muslims cities - the food from the west (chinese muslim food) is my favorite followed by sichuan hot pots.

the farthest I've been inland is Sichuan Province, and that's right smack in the middle of china.

Every day. man this is another planet. I've been to a lot of countries, but this one is on some twilight zone status. I've learned that instead of WTF, WTC (welcome to china) is a better attitude. trying to figure out why they do what they do, or why things are the way the are, is just going to mangle your brain. Embrace it all and shrug off the shyt that would typically shock you at home.

I've got too many stories, but the things that get on my nerves are stares that are like this and despite looking right back into their eyes, they dont look away, you can be eating, just going about your business, and 2 mufukkas wanna . In my black culture, that warrants a fight, it's like automatic in my heart to be like 'THE fukk YOU LOOKIN AT nikka?" but I can't and besides they won't know wtf I'm saying. I just look them in the face and shake my head or give them the so they know I'm annoyed. I'm having a hard time getting used to that shyt, but I'm doing better.

public bathrooms are hell on earth. one of these days I'll drop a blog entry I made on it. it's pretty funny actually, but really, the bathroom are absolutely foul. I mean raw.

smoking pretty much every where like the elevator or like earlier when I was in a cab, and dude just lit it up (luckily I smoke) is a bit wow. Spitting is common, and yup, they make that scarrrraaaaraa sound effect, nobody thinks that sound is foul, spitting is completely normal, nobody bats an eyelid. kids and taxi drivers pissing in a corner in broad daylight ain't so rare either. WTC nikka!

Which do you like more, Korea or China, and why?

China. any place that's doing it's own thing and not trying to mimic the west is intriguing to me. China has more character, I go to Korea to get my american snack and food binge. If I wanted an american lifestyle I'd live in america.
