Yeah, Disney has a case, but I don't think they'll fight it. It's bad on their bottom line. People will boycott off of principle. "Oh, you don't care about our kids huh?" That type of thinking. Better to keep it lowkey and in the middle of the newspaper somewhere by breaking a little bread. Which they have more than enough of. Disney has decades of experience in the hospitality industry. It would be unlike them to fight this in court.

No Disney doesn't have a case. The child wasn't swimming, he was walking in a foot of water.

There should have been gator warnings. Disney's about to be sued big time.

Why the fukk would you build a man made beach with white sand and beach chairs and host movie nights on a lake with gators in it and have absolutely no warnings that there are gators in the lake? Disney is at fault here because they are giving people a false sense of security with this. Disney World gets guests from all over the world and not everyone knows that alligators can get in most bodies of water in Orlando. I didn't know that the lakes in Cancun had gators in them but the city was wise enough to post warnings around the letting you know.

No swimming, means stay out of the water. But they'll have signs about alligators (and probably other wildlife) now too.

Which Parents weren't the cause of parental concerns and investigations?

By the way they killed 5 alligators to try to determine which one killed him.

No Outrage towards the parents, nothing?

Only complaints about the signs.
I was thinking about the same thing.
Parents of the Orlando alligator death were not given the same treatment as the parents of the Cincinnati Zoo gorilla story.
Story 1: They were just a nice white family from the mid-west, having fun in a Disney resort, where their toddler son was attacked by an alligator. Father tried to help but got non-lethal, light scratches on his arms to prove that he did try to stop things. What a hero.
Story 2: Careless minority race parents allow their toddler son to jump into a gorilla den. Why did they allow that to happen? Where the father be at?
