At the beginning of mean streets
Breh the KID WAS TWO YEARS OLD :stopitslime:

at that age they are not rationalizing what's right or wrong or whats safe or dangerous

that's why the PARENTS SHOULD BE CRUCIFIED FOR THAT
Terrible twos, that age where they are defiant and exploring everything.

Native of the NYC, getting fed in the Big D!
Neither parent should be crucified for this. They fu**ed up, but it's not like they showed gross negligence.

We had a pool in our back yard when I was young, and I'm pretty sure me and my sis could have drowned in that pool if we went outside when moms was sleep. We knew better than to go back there but some kids don't think.
Breh, I feel you on that but with all due respect, even your parents wouldn't have allowed you nor your sister go unattended by a swimming pool if you were 2 years old.

You ever had a child that age go through dem Terrible Twos? :dame:
Kids that age are everywhere and have you constantly policing them. They don't have a sense as to what can harm them yet.
These parents should've known that.

the positive I can bring out of this is that at least they aren't trying to bring this family up on charges like they tried to in the hirambe situation.

maybe that situation with gorilla helped the media to better understand how to handle a story like this.
It's good the way they covered it so far.

Im hoping (maybe with a bit naivety) that in future situations like this the parents won't be assaulted by the media or social media.

thread isn't about whose at fault, its about how race plays a factor in how the parents of the victim are treated.

People were actually calling for the black parents to killed instead of the gorilla.
this double standard bothers me,
if you feel this is disrespectful to the parents of the white child, then you should be just as outraged for the parents of the black child, cause that could easily ended the same way.
It's because their was actual footage of the gorilla dragging the kid, if there was video of child being eaten by the alligator then it would be completely different story imo

what kind of mofo keep a 2yr old up that late? :dahell:

The pools at Disney World don't close till 11 and they have movie nights and activities for kids that end late. Hell on certain nights the parks don't even close till midnight or later and there are plenty of kids in there at that time. The fireworks and parades are often around 9pm and every parent is going to want their kid to see those firework displays and parades.

It's obvious many of y'all have never been there before.

Glad they didn't have any footage of it.

They wouldn't have shown anyway.
