They didn't know there were aliigators over there b/c there were no warning signs, which is exactly why they can sue. Hopefully for billions. This could have happened to anyone.

The mother at the zoo wasn't watching her child, that is how he had enough time to climb (not fall, climb) all of the way down there with those animals. Their child didn't die and was in there for a while with those animals without being harmed before they killed it. This rarely happens and could only happen to people who weren't watching their children. Millions of kids go to the zoo and know not to climb in the animal's areas.
