The signs said no swimming.

They eere in Florida. They were wading 20 feet from the dry land. fukk them. Bad parenting. They don't deserve any money.

I didn't say they deserved to get it, but Disney also knows they don't have signs warning about gators around that resort and lagoon. So they'll make sure they cover their legal tracks before moving forward. A no swimming sign doesn't say there are reptiles in the water.

There were still signs saying not to enter the water, if disney settles they'll get nice payday but if they fight it they have a pretty good case i think

Yeah, Disney has a case, but I don't think they'll fight it. It's bad on their bottom line. People will boycott off of principle. "Oh, you don't care about our kids huh?" That type of thinking. Better to keep it lowkey and in the middle of the newspaper somewhere by breaking a little bread. Which they have more than enough of. Disney has decades of experience in the hospitality industry. It would be unlike them to fight this in court.

:dahell: Disney was/is 100% at fault here. We have signs all over Orlando if alligators are around. There wasn't a sign there. The lake is man made and the kid wasn't even in the water.

Thread's garbage. :camby:
thread isn't about whose at fault, its about how race plays a factor in how the parents of the victim are treated.

People were actually calling for the black parents to killed instead of the gorilla.
this double standard bothers me,
if you feel this is disrespectful to the parents of the white child, then you should be just as outraged for the parents of the black child, cause that could easily ended the same way.

If I remember correctly, the parents were watching the child before and when he died. Alligators sneak up on prey and kill quick. They didn't know there were aliigators over there b/c there were no warning signs, which is exactly why they can sue. Hopefully for billions. This could have happened to anyone.

The mother at the zoo wasn't watching her child, that is how he had enough time to climb (not fall, climb) all of the way down there with those animals. Their child didn't die and was in there for a while with those animals without being harmed before they killed it. This rarely happens and could only happen to people who weren't watching their children. Millions of kids go to the zoo and know not to climb in the animal's areas.
You don't know what the hell your talking about. You find no problem with parents allowing their two year old to swim in a murky lagoon at 9pm in FLORIdA where gators are known to be prevalent, but are so ready to blame the black woman that literally turned her head for a split second from her child? Especially when surveillance showed mom had literally turned her head away from the boy for about 1 minute (to look at her other three kids mind you) which gave the boy just enough time to jump over barrier.

Why do you hate black women so much?
