This is why i say the far left are dangerous, their whole aim is to focus on economics and ignore race in hopes they can pander to trump supporters and win them over. This is why i despise bernie sanders who has called out identity politics, he created this stop identity politics bs because he was trying to pander to white supremacist. This is why he and jimmy dore and people like secular talk are dangerous because they are claiming to be left and want racism to be accepted.
Some white leftists have a blind spot when it comes to culture and identity politics. None of em say racism should be tolerated. Vast majority of white liberals have blind spots when it comes to economics and the links between economics and racism.

What they're essentially saying with terms like "identity politics" and trying to drum up a negative stigma about it is "Hey stop worrying about the issues that effect you and your community and help us liberal whites fight conservative whites". Like we're suppose to just drop everything to engage in a fight that isn't really ours at the moment. Once we get our issues addressed we'll be happy to engage in some kind of kumbaya progressive utopia....until then stfu and let me talk and concern myself about things that matter to me and my people.

At the end of the day you have children being raped and murdered in prison because the far left wouldn't vote.
I think that's probably the most egregious example but there are so many like Puerto Rico, ramping up the drug war, EPA allowing the poisoning of minority communities, ICE, Muslim ban, gutting ACA, Paris Accord pullout and etc etc etc.
Not only would these people not vote but they would tell others not to vote as well.
Idk why you expect the people effected to just say no big deal.
