So we are down to “you must have the surgery to use women’s restrooms”

So i ask, how is this enforced?

You see a person you think doesn’t have the surgery and you call the police?

How do they then confirm if the person has had the surgery or not?
If the person is “female presenting” and passable, that should be the rule of thumb. Same way if I would walk into a women’s restroom, no one would have to check to see my penis and be like “Are you suuuuuuure you’re not a man?!” it’s already implied that I am a man and should not be in that type of women’s only space. :yeshrug:

That man in the OP would’ve been just fine in any male restroom or locker room. Most men would just assuming he’s gay and, and KIM about our business. Many women will see him, and will be jarred by his presence. I think society is at a point where we’ve accepted that passable ppl can be disseminated to the appropriate spaces. I personally have been in male restrooms where women would walk in while we were using the restroom and do a bump. It didn’t bother me. And doesn’t really bother me personally, if women are in male spaces like restrooms. But for obvious reasons, a lot of women are going to be more jarred by the opposite. And that’s ok. :yeshrug:

Just telling cis women “Get over it! It’s just a penis” wouldn’t fly in any other circumstance…unless it’s a pre op man who identifies as a woman. And that’s crazy. :dead:

Problem is, this is subjective.

Who’s “obviously” a woman to you may look like a man to somebody else.

So now how do we write laws based of invidula subjective opinions?? :jbhmm:

Of course some people will have extreme otherworldly views of what looks like a “man” vs what looks like a “woman”, but there are still baselines that most ppl in America would agree are “passable”. This was never a widespread issue before. Defining who’s passable vs who’s not. In what state would that man in OP be mistaken for a woman, if he were in an exclusively male space? When I have a full beard on my face, where would my presence would be welcomed in exclusively women spaces if I decided that I identify as a woman? I should just be in a woman’s locker room, dikk swangin, bearded, and women should just be able to “get over it” because I mean no harm? :jbhmm:

Can’t write laws based on subjective “extremes” and “baselines”.

You tell me. What should be done to keep “men” out of “women’s” bathrooms?

Most bathrooms/lockerooms have private space for you to be naked.

If you don’t want to be seen naked then don’t come out of the private spaces naked, that’s what i do, and that’s what most people do:manny:

Nobody is “dikk swinging” in public areas of bathrooms.

That’s your little nasty fantasy :scust:
