Cheap ass books with like 33 reviews. Yeah they're really selling like hot cakes,
IDK. I always looked at self publishing as being not only quite difficult but stressful.Many people have told me traditional publishing is much easier. But IDK I could be wrong.
You see how many reviews the other books are getting? Clearly, only a small group are going after those books. They're not selling like hot cakes that's why they're so damn cheap. Try again.
thread is fairly true. The ast few chicks I've talked to were reading those same old tired black romance books and of course books by Rev Run/Tyrese and 'Think Like a Man'

And as far as them being .99 cents....just a tool for "the man" to get it into more our our hands 
This also goes along with my constant complaints about Tyler Perry not doing something atypical of usual black films. Y'all defend him and talk about how he "caters to his audience", but that's no excuse when ur nearly a billionaire with all the black power in Hollywood and still making low-brow movies. You can take a creative risk and perhaps expand the minds of black viewers and who knows what can happen afterwards

these types of books shows u the mindset of the authors behind it and there lack of or unwillingness to leave there comfort zone

Funny how the media machine has to sway BW into liking WM.I think on some unconscious(maybe even conscious for some)level, BW have always wanted the benefits of white patriarchy, but when it comes to spiritual/emotional/physical attraction, the average sista's really not checking for WM like that.
No pun intended, but these white boys are literally being forced down their throats nh.
It's social engineering/propaganda.Just look at how they promote these white dudes---through FICTIONAL characters.They've done it for years with white jesus, superman, james bond etc etc...They use hollywood to build up white boy magnetism & swag.Now they're doing it Zane/Wahida Clark style and revealing it through book form specifically targeting BW.
We've become so distant from our past and understanding where we stand in this country, A lot of BW might fukk around and bite on this shyt; becoming the new pseudo Asian women.....Treating WM like trophies

I read a book by Octavia Butler called Mind Of My Mind a few years back.Good BW sci fi writer.
