Old black erotica wasnt like that, I had a compilation book of erotica by black authors that was sooooooo amazing. But I feel these new authors are doing a diservice to literature

IDK. I always looked at self publishing as being not only quite difficult but stressful.Many people have told me traditional publishing is much easier. But IDK I could be wrong.

If those in the know can expand on this point, it'd be appreciated, bc I do share similar concerns. Like others, I also plan to take the time to write books in the scifi and supernatural realm starring black people. I've been brain storming different ideas for years actually, a damn near decade.. and I'm approaching a time in my life where I can sit down and put it all on paper. With that said, i've always imagined that the difficulties wouldn't be so much in the writing of such stories as it would the publishing/promoting/placement etc.

I generally don't read books based on fiction. Last book I bought was 100/0 principal. Before that, it was the Kyballion I think. Before that, the Philosophies and Opinions of Marcus Garvey. Book I bought and haven't read is Engines of Creation. Really need to crack that bytch open for real for real

In fairness, the Hispanic, Native American, and Asian best sellers lists have a lot of these romantic novels and urban tales. Not exactly high brow literature, here. The Jewish best sellers had more of a mix.

I know a few people who read these .The writing is deplorable and the words are extra large on the page. I'm convinced you'll become less literate reading them. It's not a judgment of the subjects, so much, (everything doesn't have to try to cure cancer), but the quality.

I'm not saying they're incapable of liking white boys, I just think it's rarely on a physical/sexual level.Most of the ones who do like white boys just want to benefit from/be apart of white patriarchy.It's more of a mental psychosis(Born into a world ran on white supremacy) thing where they find themselves infatuated with the social status/standings of WM and they want to be apart of that.
