BLACK MEN WERE HANGED FOR EVEN LOOKING AT A WHITE WOMAN!
IS THIS BLACK MALE PRIVILEGE???

You seem to have understood my initial post...
So I don't see what the hang up is.
I've said numerous times that I don't agree with the argument and consider it invalid, but I understand what they were trying to say. Nevertheless, I disagree and consider it invalid.
His wording was on point. What you're seeing is a man trying to escape from the ditch he dug himself into.Hmm.. then you wording is misleading.
To me, it sounds as if you are saying that you understand where they are going with their point that is illustrated like this.....
white manhood

white womanhood = chattel slavery
When I am saying that I don't understand what they are trying to say because the pecking order is illustrated more like this....
white manhood
---->white womanhood

If you are in agreeance, then cool.
I don't think this person is being serious.Hmm.. then you wording is misleading.

@HarlemHottie
No one loves the patriarchy more than white women and it is reflected, in part, by their votes.
They have their men well whipped which means they can commit atrocities without accepting any of the responsibility - see Emmett Till. They're free to continue playing the victim.

Why do yall make such embarrassing posts like these?I mean, male privilege was definitely a thing back then regardless of social status, however it's disingenuous to compare the privilege of male slaves to white women. I understand the underlying comparison of womanhood to chattel, but that in itself dismisses a non-enslaved woman's own agency. And I say "non-enslaved" because what does that argument say about enslaved women? Are they saying there's no difference???
