Never heard of this before either

this too. putting all of the personal rights and law discussion on the side, i damn sure wouldn't be comfortable with a dealership that tells me "we'll let you go home with the car just to test drive it or rent it for a day or two then come back with it a day later". there's a million and 1 things that can go wrong from that. this is just one of them. what happens if you crash the car or somebody crashed into you by accident? then what? folks don't think.

i dunno about you folks that are cool with doing that shyt. i damn sure wouldn't test drive a car without the man or a woman from the dealership in the car with me taking it for a brief spin NOR would i be cool with driving it off the lot and keeping it for a day or too. i don't care if they give me paperwork or whatever else. in the back of my mind, it's just asking for trouble. you folks are wilding. i have to say that some of you folks are a bit too comfortable, let your brains go on autopilot and obviously don't think ahead.

I'm sure the cars are insured so they would just pay it.

What do you mean?

I mean that even when you're well in your right's, you should bow down to someone with a badge

You wouldn't wanna antagonize or be a dikk to someone by simply not doing something someone requests even though you don't have to.

Be a civilized individual and act accordingly:ld:

But most people are UN disciplined dikks with no home training

I swear man, so many smart dumb nyggaz in here. Some of yall nyggaz just love buckin the gatdamn system. This is a classic case of "when keepin real goes wrong." When will y'all nyggaz learn to be smart and use your brain to get up out of situation :mindblown:

This nygga could have just shown the Popos the nessesary documents and he could have avoided all this bullshyt. But instead he wanted be on some bullshyt and escalate a situation to unessesary levels. This dude wanted to be difficult. (Almost on some female type shyt) I keep sayin over and over that some of the cops can't wait to take your black azz to jail, they have the power to do so.

Knowing that fact, the black dude decided be on some other shyt :snoop: This situation happed to me a few years back. I got pulled over and I had no front plate and dealership tags on the back. The cop asked me to provide the vehicle information, I showed him the title, registration, insurance, lic, etc and I went on my gatdamn way.
thread should have ended here. at the bolded...BASICALLY. they gon learn tho... :smugfavre:

if the cop is telling us he saw something that would absolve the driver and clear up this whole situation just laying in the backseat I would think something along the lines of "ok grab that paper back there it looks like that will help straighten things out" is said and who is going to argue with that.

That dumb nikka, apparently :skip:

The nikka HIMSELF admitted they specifically asked to see the shyt.

"Sowells said the officers asked to view a document that was strewn across the vehicle’s back seat. Not knowing what it was, he refused."

So what do you think is more likely? That the officers simply asked him to see the paper while doing their routine questioning?

Or that they were arguing with him, cursing at him, called him "nikka", told him they don't like his kind in that part of town, said it don't make sense for a black man to be driving an expensive car, all of which pissed the nikka off......and in the middle of all that harassment, they randomly decided to ask to see some paper he had in the car, that more than likely would have helped the driver than hurt him? They didn't ask to search him or the vehicle; they didn't see and ask to look at a bag that might have had some drugs or a weapon in it and gotten him in trouble; they didn't see some other personal shyt and asked to search that shyt (otherwise I'm sure he would have mentioned that); they just asked to see the paper.

Come on, now :comeon:

But to be clear, this is a sales tactic that's been going on for decades...

Its called getting the buyer emotionally invested in the car to close the deal
