I’m sure there are plenty of good, black civil rights attorneys, but they don’t have the reach to bring the pressure needed to make this legal entities fold. Ben Crump does. He has credibility whether people like him or not.
People are killed by the police in this weekly and I’m sure their families wish Ben Crump would come work for them.

introduced a bill two weeks before the Brown incident that would require law enforcement to release body camera footage upon request after 48 hours. Agencies would be able to petition a judge if they had concerns about the release of the footage.

Gotdammnnn y’all think you know everything; just because people are asking questions about the legal counsel doesnt mean that we can’t criticize the police or trying to distract. listen sometimes to what’s being asked instead of being defensive. asking a question has a purpose. The reason is right there^^. The officials are trying to undermine the investigation due to the fact that the attorneys are not bar permitted in North Carolina - they are pulling every loophole. If Crump had a NC attorney there from the start; it wouldn’t have given the police opposition an out to not release the damn video. See??
