But in this case it is though. I would argue rap is even bigger in europe. But enough about rap, its only one genre out of many
AA created music genres. Black americans redefined much of what is modern global appropriated music. This was happening long before hip hop

And i said AA culture as a whole is mostly a southeastern based culture. The seeds of hip hop-sonically is rooted and based on funk music. Rapping was based off traditional jive talking to include poetry styles like the last poets, albums like Hustlers Convention etc

Look rap is big.. in fact it's gigantic... but even how big it is 95% of society does not look listen dress or partake in real hip hop on the regular. ..

it just is what it is... 90% of the world has no idea who Future is and could give a shyt less.

This is a perfect example of what I'm talking about..

Look at how akward this encounter is...

This is what 95% of what an encounter between rap and a European is... just

I love hip hop.. but black people here are too invested in it and it's a shame because we should be aiming way higher

:martin: How is this the case. Most black immigrants gain better understanding/knowledge of self with blackness though AA/AA culture. Ask Marcus Garvey

Watch the interview breh...

He even says in it he hasn't been around African people until he went to Puerto Rico

AS have a very false sense of what it means to be black.. and it's based on what white people reinforced through sterotypical imagery. ..

MALCO said it better then I can.. watch the interview

Hip hop is a musical genre its not supposed to change the world. Why are you putting impossible standards and goals on the genre. As a musical genre its influential on a global scale and on a scale no other music in the diaspora is really on

Second or first as some might put it is House/techno music. Especially in europe. Than you have pop and randb
You even got soul making a comeback overseas. The race of those consuming or singing the music is besides the point. It stemmed from AA culture which is represented globally in more than just hip hop

There is no false sense. Black America rewrote the book on defining blackness.
And on pan-africanism

You have no idea how fukked up some African countries are. In Zimbabwe or Malawi I would definitely say yes to that question :ld:. It's not about race, and the kleptocratic scum that runs Africa (at least much of southern Africa) aren't their "own people" (they're not for their people). If African Americans had their own republic, but it was corrupt as hell, run by Creflo Dollar and Umar Johnson, monthly hyperinflation hit 350%, elections were rigged and leaders regularly stole from the treasury and had citizens murdered would you show unwavering loyalty because it's run by "one of you"?

The second bolded is nonsense. Why do you reduce everything that goes on to race? You seem to know next to nothing about that part of the world. I'm not saying that as an insult or to make a slick comment, I'm honestly just saying it's multi-faceted and you doesn't seem to know the depth of corruption there at all.

How do you think all these problems are remedied by fleeing your own people and country? :jbhmm:

Would you recommend every single Zimbabwean or Malawian follow your lead and just up and leave...and that'll fix all the problems in those countries? :jbhmm:

They're not. Your families problems can be remedied that way.

Not everyone needs to leave. There are very wealthy people in every country on the planet. I would basically recommend anyone who's suffering leave if they can.

The problems have NOTHING to do with the common citizens, you seem to not understand that.
