We seeing the first generation of dudes who have accelerated hair loss due to excess haircuts. The early 90s generation of dudes who were obsessed with a fresh hairline looking mad

These hairline threads always crack me up because of stupid urban myths like this. Haircuts do not have anything to do with your hairline receding. You have to be special mentally to truly believe that. It's all genetics(exceptions due to excessive stress aside). If cutting your hair with a razor made it recede then your facial hair(beard/mustache) would recede. It amazes me how many people truly believe that getting too many haircuts or wearing hats causes hair loss. Hair loss is so traumatic that cats have to make up causes for it just to cope. I've had probably more cuts than anybody here and my shyt is still straight. I feel for you cats tho.

All I said that it accelerates baldness at earlier ages than your genetics intent to do. If men of both sides of your family become bald at age 50, excessive haircuts will make baldness happen at 35, for example.

It's worse for black men cos we can't hide a terrible hairline. Other folks can flop hair over half their hairline. We can't hide. If your hairline is falling back the whole world can see.

That's why nikkas get dreads AND a taper. Scared to damage the hairline.

The taper is basically a gap between the hairline and your hair so that your hairline doesn't get pulled on when you get hairstyles like braids, dreads, etc
