Sounds like the focus should be on getting our paper up
The problem is you have a contradictory narrative where when a Brother actually puts his head to the grind and gets his paper up he becomes a sellout.
I'll use this guy over and over again because he is the literal definition of the shyt that I'm talking about:
Black Man late 30's owns a bakery in BK, was fukking around in life in his 20's always had a Black GF. Got his shyt together in his 30's and started hustling to build down payment money for office space and to fund his business idea.
Got investment by his mid 30's and began the bakery. Tried to make staff 100% Black.
Currently around 37 years of age the dude had to fire like 1/2 of the brothers he employed they didn't want to show up for work. Failing drug tests, high on the job and shyt.
Sisters stopped messing with him because they claimed he became "bougie", "worked too much" and he ended up with a Mexican chick who comes from a family that values hard work.
This nikka is IN the community he never left and attempted to employ his own and would have failed and gone bankrupt if he didn't hire the best person for the job. The real sellout is the nikka showing up to work blazed and trying to drag productive brothers down with them.
Sisters wasn't backing this dude up on his road to success. But they was down when he was on some bullshyt though.
Sisters obviously don't want to be spoiled in NYC, especially in Brooklyn. They love the gutter mentality and lifestyle.
. Just because your mans surrounded himself with a bunch of ratchet hoodrats isn't indicative of anything other than the poor decisions he made.
