I buy my wife shyt all the time BUT I overcompensate because of my lack of affection. For Valentine's it was a Movado watch she liked, a lower tier pair of CL's and a nice dinner. I'm not materialistic, I don't understand people needing designer bags/ clothes when their bank accounts say they can't afford the rent next week.

Women need to stop being treated like children unless it works for both people in the relationship. I only encourage women to work and get our own. Self-reliance is a must. Or else, you're subordinate to whoever you financially depend on.
