Railroad is an option. I’m training to be a locomotive engineer for a commuter railroad. There are a lot of different departments (transportation, mechanical, track labor) and a lot of people make 6 figures. I’ve never been to college :manny: You just have to be willing to deal with not having a set schedule.

Exactly.

She majored in CS, got a masters, and then went into working for the government.

I’m talking about entry level cybersecurity analysts that are pulling hard drives outta computers and are doing tech support. They not making 100k.

Plus yo girl got education.

That's not a cybersecurity analyst though. That's Tier 1/2 tech support.

But in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area. 100K is very obtainable as a cyber security analyst.

It's very hard to get an well paying job without learning a trade or getting a college degree.

Only like three options if you don't have one of those two....

Warehouse
CDL
Transit (This only applies to major cities)

If there's any other jobs that pay livable wage money that don't require a trade or college, please post.

Why would youth matter for an ATC?

Its a prerequisite I think the cutoff is 30 yrs old entering the field.

"As well as retirement age, starting age for controllers is mandated in some countries. In the US, the FAA states that controllers must start training by the age of 31. The only exception to this is for controllers retraining from a military air traffic controller role to a civilian one. This limit is set for a couple of different reasons.

Firstly, it allows workers to complete the minimum number of working years needed for pension eligibility. It is also related to the idea that the older someone is when they start training, the less likely they will complete the training successfully"
