:comeon: You bout to piss me off. This is your backwards ass thinking. Shouldn’t you have the answer to your silly ass question? Bc my response is let go of gender and concentrate on what is best for Black children. I don’t care if it’s a man or woman who is doing what’s best for Black kids!

Tell me more. What’s he about?
what is best for black children is a black male authority figure teaching them in school everyday from grades to through 12 okay? I didn't know you were getting mad I thought you were on board with my plan. You don't want to see this type of action. I'm sorry to break it to you but there is a difference in the genders. We have a part to play and we're not the same

I’m on board with Black men and women living life to the fullest. Sowing unnecessary seeds of dissent won’t do that. Women can lead and teach a class full of Black children just as well as a Black men can. That doesn’t take away from the fact that Black men are woefully needed in education spaces. it’s worrying to me that you are someone who has children (or at least I think so based on your posting history) and can so easily spout rhetoric that isn’t helpful and at worst hurtful to where we are in education. Please get apart of the solution. Bc this ain’t it breh

oh

so what happen to all kids need in the class room is a strong male figure?

but I see

some people want to live out they little fantasies of always wanting to punishing black kids for their own underlying issues

nah breh

save that black man vs woman battle stuff, we actually trying to rebuild within the community, and fools like you need to stick to lame ass gender wars.
I'm just trying to imagine your hypothetical nonsense. And the only way I can see that happening is in a school that has a lot of women. Sometimes you have these b**** ass boys that know they can act up in front of a grown man because it is a temporary thing. Soon they get to go back and be under the pity and nurturing unconditional love of their poor mother who's probably busting her ass to provide for the sad little clown.

Reduce these ratios from 75% to 25% and I guarantee they will be a dramatic change in the way kids behave and progress

Teaching has gone the way of nursing assistants. A bunch of sexual freaks with a little bit of brains finding an easy profession they can Bank on and retire with but ultimately they aren't pushing the needle forward and the kids suffer

I agree I think they can teach some subjects proficiently but when 75% of teachers are women that's way too many causing their attitudes and sensibilities to permeate where they don't belong. The ratio needs to cut down dramatically. Maybe they can teach the art class. A guidance counselor. Kindergarten. Cooking. Arts n crafts.

50 50 is not a remedy. Men taking their place is the only hope for the kids

Seeing what they have allowed in the California school system is a disgrace and need to be usurped. It may be too late in California though because their allies are gay and it roots are planted pretty firmly.

Smh. You not seeing what I’m saying. Kindergarten, (Which by the way I agree with bc early childhood education.
Is the #1 factor in learning success), arts and crafts, cooking :stopitslime:. These are the only areas that women are adept in? Ignoring the fact that women are half of the population and therefore half of the discoveries of the world? I would keep going back and forth but honestly I don’t think your opinion will change.

Women have not made half discoveries in the world. Most are barely A century out of the kitchen.

We can see right now with their legacy has given the black community and I think they clearly need the assistance they've been begging for.

You say 50/50 is good but they say mostly women is better. Unfortunately you're being taken for a ride mentally if you can look at the world around you and say we don't need to focus on any gender politics

@staticshock breh how is it teaching in the ATL area? The pay decent?

yea pay is below average ..could be WAY better, but I don’t do it for the money. I don’t have any kids, so my money goes further.

As for the job itself, I feel like I haven’t been to “work” in 5 years cause I love being around the kids.

I’ve did pre-K (which was the most fun I’ve ever had), 4th and 5th grade. They’re moving me to middle school this year, so it’ll be a new adventure, but I’ve been with the same group of kids for the past 2 years.

They keep me young. They put me on all the new rappers and dances. You make connections to kids and help me out with issues they’re having outside of the school.

I had one 5th grade girl come to me and tell me “I think I like girls”..of course I told the parent, but for her to come to me and tell me that and ask for help showed me I earned her trust and they feel as if they can come to me for everything.

You have to have a passion for this tho. Ain’t no reason to wake up at 6:30 every morning if you don’t like kids and hate going into the building.

lot of perks being a young, handsome male teacher with locs in a building full of females too :myman:
