I mean these stores always make it clear they don't want business from black people. ignoring us, following us around like we're going to steal something. Why even go there?

I would have walked out at the first snub instead of standing there filming.

fukk giving them your hard earned money. Go to where you get respect.

This right here. We need to stop giving our money to businesses that treat us like shyt.

you gotta remind retail workers its THER JOB not their BUSINESS.

all they own is an elitist attitude at a minimum wage salary

no hate.

i've been treated like this before even had people tell me they didn't have shyt that was in stock and I made someone else get it for me and exposed them, call them out on the spot. :yeshrug:

earlier this year I had a very bad experience going to pick up something from a retailer after an online purchase during lockdown. they had curb side pick up only and they told me it was ready. I showed up and some old lady dismissed me saying she didn't get the order, asked me if I was even at the right place... then she sent out a white bytch to tell me she couldn't do nothing for me. I showed them the confirmation. they REFUSED to look at it.

I wrote them a review 2 days later for their relatively new business as I am a notable google reviewer in my area. I started getting e-mails with a request to call the head office for a chat and a bunch of missed frantic calls then we spoke on email and I told the head office everything and they offered to make amends. I didn't take them up on anything and I left the review up. they kept calling me for weeks

the moral of the story. hit them where it hurts :lolbron:
Them reviews really do hurt. I remember a body shop never getting back to me for two weeks about my car until I left a detailed and bad review. the owner called me back the same night. Oh now you have time to follow up

I'll level with you, I've often thought and said that integration was overrated. Possibly even a mistake but I'm not ready to concede that just yet. I've also said that the only thing these people understand is money or violence, but what this woman did falls under the former. No company wants to deal with bad PR as it affects their bottom line especially in this day and age of social media and trendy social justice.
That social justice shyt has a ceiling and these companies are getting hip to the fact that it takes a whole fukkin lot to get y'all to stop spending money in the face of blatant disrespect

Call it whatever y'all want this shyt is simple
