exactly, they put poisonous food in our communities killing us off and we buy it because its cheap. Middle Class Blacks need to move to the area like I've been saying in other threads, but even then we as blacks will still go to Wally World to save a few bucks, instead of investing in our health.that's an issue because the area they are in is the one that needs a place like this the most, but they can't afford to shop there. it's a crazy cycle. how do we fix it![]()
damn breh, i had no idea. tell folk to ignite a kickstarter campaignBreh, how you expect the preacher to do gods work driving around in a 2012 Range Rover? That shyt 3 years old breh![]()

@bdizzle I've done my best to support black business over the years but I have to be honest. Usually the prices are damn near double what you'd see other places. I have a spot near my crib that I try to support as much as possible but it's hard based on their prices. It's a soul food restaurant and I have to pay 13 dollars for 2 pieces of chicken and 2 sides. I make a decent living so I can afford this time to time but for a struggling black family, they wouldn't be able to do it. We can't ignore the fact that we are not paid as well as other races and how high our poverty level is. That's the real issue here and not just about calling people c00ns for not supporting the business. The question is do we have the funds to support these businesses.
You keep emphasizing I'm not black
I never claimed to be black
It's ridiculous I can't post with anything without it being trolling or getting called a cac. Look at the responses and its all
Last time I checked its a open message board![]()

I didn't say you can't post anything
I said all you do is troll threads about black people, because that's all you do in these threads.![]()

Do you know of this page? They update themselves ALOT. Would definitely also help the businesses they list if we were to give it a "Coli push". We can also do small things like each introducing at least 2 female family members in our families to Black owned natural care products like Shea Moisture.
There is something else I have thought of but I'm not sure if it wiill be done....
Starting today the first day of the year we can see if the owners of the site @Brooklynzson @cook can have a banner listing a specific Black owned business once a day for the rest of the year....
Over 15, 000 members seeing this.....some of them putting it on Facebook and telling family about it....
I based it off of the initial post. Talking about we need help with website design, selection of items, and other trivialities that any business should automatically be ready for when in operation. We have a ton of African markets here in Houston, all run by blacks. They tend to do well here.
I guess in Houston the idea of a black owned grocery store is no big deal. A well run store will succeed, especially if they cater to the tastes and needs of the community they're in. This entire concept of begging for money, simply because you are unable to efficiently run your business is problematic in my opinion. Especially since these endeavours are for the benefit of private individuals.
But if i lived in the area, i would gladly patronize the market, provided they had the foodstuffs and items i needed. But simply donating to a private business just because? Nah.
For whatever reason black only means African American to some people. I don't get it either![]()
