I'd rather them just not make another Black Panther movie than make a T'Challa less Black Panther film. I don't want to see the Shuri we got as BP (has nothing to do with the vax stuff the actress just tiny) or Killmongerer, M'Baku or any other established character. All this pissing around and going forward with the movie without recasting annoying, it's like saying we gonna fukk but we going to keep our pants on while being between a wall, no fukking thanks.

They should just make a Wakanda Disney+ series and keep it moving. They could tell the other character's stories without the pressure of a film released in theaters

look at these idiots

insufferable
Disney suddenly wants to act like tchalla was black panther in real life. I'm sure Chadwick was tired if saying Wakanda forever everywhere he went.

There are plenty of brothas who can reprise the role. Doesn't need to be explained. Just recast. They were probably hoping the shuri actress would take over the role and stay black panther. Cism.

Agree with them 100%. that recasting shyt has always been immersion breaking to me anyway, rather they just introduce a new character then have two actors play the same person. Rather they just write the character out entirely than recast.
Still mad they switched hulks and rhodey's because i like the original actors better in both cases. especially Hulk. Mark Ruffalo is trash. If they hadn't recast they could've maybe mended the relationship with the actors later on and brought them back.

Chadwick would even say not recasting T'Challa is stupid. T'Challa/Black Panther was an A list comic character before the MCU and that's why Black Panther was a highly anticipated movie. They are going out of their way to fukk this up. Wakanda without T'Challa is like Asgard without Thor.

The man said it himself.

I wasn't even that big of a fan of the first Black Panther film, but if they don't just recast the damn role. Retiring the character is not honoring Chadwick. They need to get the fukk out of their feelings.

I think it's more BS to have replaced Edward Norton for not promoting The Hulk and Terrance Howard as War Machine over wanting a raise. These movies sell themselves and they could've afforded to give Howard a raise but the death of an actor is out of their hands. I think it's really overstated the pressure and hate an actor will receive from getting the role, I think most people accept that it is a tragedy that Chadwick died in his prime and the only people who will be hating on the actor who replaces Chadwick are obsessive dorks and that's just what they do. The actor who played Spartacus on STARZ shockingly died of cancer during the shows run and they recast and no one gave the replacement any grief because everyone understood while we'd rather have the original lead he died and the story needed to be completed.

I don't too much care about T'chala specifically getting recast...it is what it is.

However, I do care and OP brings up a good point about every other franchise having a legacy cast of characters. I'd hope the MCU has a plan to flesh that shyt out, and the comics line can do a better job of crafting a legacy experience for BP just like Spiderman, Batman, hell even Captain America has a legacy line of characters ready to go at any moment now :ld:

There's no excuse for BP not having one too.

you guys have mental problems

retarded projections
They sound more sane then you. You sound like a plant defending Disney.

Its Hollywood remember? I wouldn't put it pass those racist, sexist, hypocritical, pedos.

Who ever said they don't want to promote a young black man is correct.

There adding more new young black female characters to black panther 2 but not a young black male. This isn't just the MCU this all of comics. There are no new black males being set up. Not even racebent. Only black females.

They will bring in either an old black man, a gay black man, an obese black man, or a light skinned black man. But every black female will be normal and blacker then black. So there picking and choosing. Young black females are in everything right now. But young black males aren't in anything but stereotypical shyt or something gay.

They didn't replace him immediatly though, didn't do a spartacus prequel show before doing, basically their version of wakanda forever? also the actors looked alike to me. but maybe thats white folks
