That's how I feel about it. I've posted numerous negative thoughts about this film prior to release, but decided to fall back after seeing so many Black folks loving it. When older Black folks are feeling it, Black children, Black teenagers, Black women, etc., can't be mad at that. Can't take the nose in the air approach either like I'm above it all or something. My mom went and saw it on Saturday and loved it. This turned into a cultural event for Black folks. Glad to see em all having fun and enjoying themselves. The way I figure, why can't Black folks enjoy a popcorn movie too?
