What does this have to wrongful murder convictions though? You don't go to the feds for murder.

If anything I would chalk the stuff in that link up to increased use of HIDTA by local law enforcement, that's leading to cases that would usually be handle by the feds being handled at a state level. Also, dudes that caught those inflated sentences during the 80s and 90s finally getting out
