I don't celebrate Christmas, never had a tree in my house growing up, but, I'm not all over thecoli, IG and FB talmbout "Ya'll need to stop, this the white man holiday" shyt.
There comes a time you start looking like a caricature of a "PRO BLACK GUY" when I'm sure our elders--mobilizing to free us--wasn't so petty.

I'll give you respect for the tangible things that you're doing in your community. I do however will always take exception to threads that simplify things into positive blacks on one side vs c**ns on the other side*.
It's never that simple. Also, if you strongly believe in your point you can logically and clearly defend it in a discussion. If it's a valid argument, most reasonable people will concede it even in a heated debate. As a kid, I saw Louis Farrakhan on The Donahue Show slice and dice a room full of angry white people like a surgeon. He never raised his voice, insulted anybody, or took the bait that they were throwing at him. He sat there destroying the entire room with a sly grin on his face.
He did this in a setting where majority of people in the room hated his guts. Why can't we all adopt this style of reasoning in a forum filled with other Black men?

I understand where OP is coming from. Most black people are broke. Our collective wealth is still dwarfed by every other race, including hispanics. Spending extravagant amounts of money to participate in this white holiday looks funny in the light.

we have to create options bruh. we need leaders and we need our people on code. individuals and their immediate family prospering does not make an impact on us as a whole. look at the ones we have in the forefront today. eventually became tools for white supremacy and even partakers.
