We also don't encourage a black economic independence only for our people... our codes have been broken we're not unified as we used to be. Also we dont stress to the children the importance of business ownership, we always stress our kids to work for others but not building your own... There's alot I wished I did when I was younger and A lot I wished I learned I never got the chance to. But I'm doing for myself now with my Novels and Merchandise.
We should be able to create our wealth and pass it down to our kids.

Civil rights ?
Welfare?
Reagan?
The Democrat Party's policies have failed the black community, however, black folks should have known better when they started telling us that it's okay for our boys to pee sitting down and its okay for our daughters to become lesbians by the 6th grade.

Nonetheless, we accepted the Democrat party's platform wholeheartedly now look where we're at.

So it's mainly the fault of black Americans.

they figured out that they best way to keep us down is to sell us the illusion that everything is 'getting better'
the media spews that magical word "progress" and black people eat it up. meanwhile we're still getting shot in the streets by POOKIE AND lil JUJU while our businesses are non existent

Had to fix that for you bro bro.

I think baseball is the best way to look at whether the end of segregation was truly beneficial

back in the day there was a Negro league where we could get our own shine.

They finally let brothers into the NBL then The Negro League suffered & totally shutdown.

Fast forward to now and theres barely any brothers playing baseball.

What he never should've done was abandoned what we created in the first place.

That goes for our Businesses, Banks, HBCUs, companies etc.

But we won't realize it until its too late.

But why let a DAMN LAW determine on how we support black owned businesses? I never got that people are crying that a damn LAW is killing their free will on supporting black owned businesses. It's like we got to be in the worst circumstances in order to be unified. We need to learn to be unified in times of peace. Period!

That's what i think as well. As soon as we integrated we dropped entrepreneurship and, subscribed to being consumers instead. However i will say black women are starting to change that narrative.

Yeah the liberal agenda played a major effect in tearing the Black Family apart. Also the social mayhem caused by the Vietnam War and Heroine Epidemic of the '70s . It's crazy how things in 2016 are relatively the same:wow:
We need it start thinking like immigrants again.

I recently been reading a book about the Black Panthers called "Black Against the Empire." And it was sad to see our situation has not changed since the 60s. Black unemployment, police brutality, poverty, lack of resources, gentrification etc. Black people's progress in America has been stagnant. Why? The leaders alike MLK,, Malcolm,Fred Hampton and other black panther were assainated by the govt.
To be replaced with militant integrationist which became apart of the political establishment and told are our leaders. And these "leaders" really haven't done much years after MLK's death. They really had nothing to show for and is why young nikkas don't listen to them. Young people don't listen to failures because we want results. What has the black "leaders" from the 70s,80s,90s,2000s and now 2010s have to show for to the youth? Some of them are out of touch.
For example Congressman Lucas Civil rights icon wrote on Twitter after the Dallas shootings that when police would hit him upside his head back in 60s for protesting he would tell them "Thank you and have a good day." :dahell: He basically implied the turn the other cheek shyt which whites love because it makes black folk seem docile non threatening. He got Clowned on Twitter for that stupid ass statement. And white America love Congressman Lucas because he represent a safe negro that is fully assimilated and can a leader of black folks so no new black panther movement takes over. That is why black nationalist Farakhan and Khalid Muhammad are treated like fringe but militant integrationist are put on the forefront.

Add on this the crack era from the 80s and 90s which was a nuclear bomb on the black community was destructive. The good news we are slowly recovering from the crack era but it will probably take another 15-20 years for the community to be fully healed from that.
