What happens when your own people discriminate or marginalize you because of another part of your identity though? Be it religion, sexuality, gender, disability. You can talk about unity all day, but there are still people with black skin who are quick to shun or mock another black person who isn't straight, able-bodied, and/or prays to something other than Jesus Christ or doesn't worship anyone at all. Until we acknowledge and accept that black folks hold other types of identities, we're never going to really be unified.

That's fair, but the rhetoric about how only black people fight against white supremacy is false. The world is much bigger than America. If other groups have figured out a way to game the system and make it work for them while uplifting their people, that isn't worshiping white people, it's finding a way to succeed in spite of the status quo.
Bottom line is that multiculturalism is bullshyt, period. There's no such thing as "allies." Some cultures are fit to wade through the present system and some aren't. There can be some mutual give and take but for the most part all this kumbaya shyt is for the birds, at the end of the day make sure your family and loved ones eat and keep it moving. You can't please everybody, no matter how hard you try. Nobody owe anyone else shyt either.

Black people in this country need to get rid of thinking black globally, and start smaller. Black is too vague, and expansive when there are so many disparate cultures that blacks are a part of. Other people practice group politics, but it's only group specific - Indians for Indians, Chinese for Chinese, Jew for Jew. That's why West Indians have had success.
Also people need to ostracize hood losers.
