I didn't. I've never owned an Eminem album in my life, asides from a few songs, never heard a full Eminem album or D12. And I don't listen to him now. Why y'all so pressed over this saltine is beyond me.:manny:
You might not have owned it but to say no black people fukked with it is nonsense. It wasn't like he wasn't part of the culture

The thing with Em was that everybody respected his skills as an emcee no doubt, but we also accepted the fact that he made corny music because he was white and as such he was allowed to do that without catchin flak.

This nikka had Dre performing gay ad libs :picard: You only get away with that if you're a non threatening cac

A rare few... i wasnt one of them. The only Slim that would rock is the strays on a Whoo Kid mixtape. But nah. We wasnt bumpin his albums going crazy. Not in era where X, Hov and Nas was doing what they did.

My breh
I lived in 3 major markets between 2000-2003
Philly, NY and Houston
That’s Power99, Hot97, and 97.9 The Box
3 of the biggest urban radio stations there are....
All played Eminem
I was a radio kid, all I did was listen to the radio so I know...

Real Slim Shady was played a lot
D12/ Purple Hills (Pills) was played a lot
Lose Yourself is prolly Eminem’s biggest urban radio song
Superman, Cleaning Out, and Without Me all got heavy play on radio

like other brehs said, his urban radio play fell off around Encore
My man gonna tell you what you heard :mjlol:
