Just randomly remembered this thread and I find out he was aquitted of first degree murder 2 months ago

Dude is extremely lucky and he had a public defender

He's still gonna do time for battery (could be somewhere between 1-10 years) and he's already served over a year

Could also be possible that he'll be let go for time served

For some odd reason, I can't find more info about the case but he still hasn't been the aggravated battery/assault charge so we'll see I guess.
