I'm fukking sick of these people.

I mentioned not too long ago in the 6 figures, 6 certs section that on LinkedIn somebody posted a picture of a group of black male Harvard University law school graduates, then here comes all the cacs (mainly cacs but you can guess all the other usual suspects) talking about lack of women, whites, blah blah blah and saying how it's "divisive". :comeon:Bear in mind, the picture didn't even have "black men" in the title, it just happened to be a group of brothas taking a photo together. As if there literally aren't trillions of photos of white professionals posing together.

They can't even hide their fear and discomfort of black, intelligent professionals on a platform like LinkedIn.

It's all "bootstraps" talk until we actually do it, then it's oh why cause division we are all one race. :comeon:

If it was all black women they wouldn’t have the same energy.

White people in the replies:

“But we have to do it too! Everyone has to be professional at work!”

:damn:

:comeon:

That’s not what we’re talking about, but of course, they have to invalidate, and chime in on EVERYTHING.

:unimpressed:

This will continue to happen as long as brehs are using general internet platforms to have in house conversations.

Make a space for brehs to build with brehs on topics that concern brehs.

Crackers are insufferable!

Always have to feel like they are apart of something…smh

Wanna be oppressor and victims constantly

At this point, I think white people have some type of evolutionary imbalance. They have an innate need to fukk with any and everything around them and they are incapable of keeping it moving :francis::mjlol:

I never understood code switching honestly, Like can’t you just be yourself out here and be ok? I mean I used to wear shirts and ties to work and all that years ago but I stopped because I was treated the same with that shyt on as I would without. I wear t shirts and shirts in the warmer months, hoodies and other shyt in the cold months. Don’t have to cod switch or anything like that and I’m doing ok out here.

Eeeeh code switching is less and less important now. Even most office jobs you can dress casual af, have visible tattoos, and pretty much do whatever now. It wasn't like that a decade ago, professional millennials and hipsters, really changed the game :yeshrug:. Probably the only thing hipsters influenced that was positive :mjlol:

Big point is the last three generations don't understand that every black conversation doesn't need to be conducted around non blacks. Or used for profit while to sell to non blacks. Some shyt needs to be talked about clandestine like amoungts our people.

“White folks do the same shyt

And us Latinos do the same shyt

It's called professionalism

Personally, I never code switched and let my performance speak for me

I was basically Kramer in a corporate setting”

:mjlol: They just can’t help themselves. Buddy trying to get those white people brownie points

I saw that spic. He knows god damn well, that his professionalism would change if he was doing professional business with other Ricans.

co signed

blacks want reparations, what about us

blacks want to build our own shopping district, what about us

blacks wants to hire all blacks, like many of Silicon Valley hire all whites,,, then what about us

Blacks want police to stopped beating and shooting our ass.. whites :snooze:

co signed..

White people complain about shyt they already have.. Lets you know they really don't want you to have shyt..

Kind of like when a breh shows up to work in a nice car and the supervisor says, "looks like we're paying you too much".

Also code switching with black folks really isn't about how we dress. It has more to do with how we communicate with each other. If you silly enough to think code switching with black folks is about how they dress. Then every sunday for hundreds of years black folks been code switching when they dress up for church and be around their own people...:mjlol:

Black people don't code switch just at work. We code switch when on the phone handling business, closing a deal. Dealing with suppliers for the business we own, dealing with customers when it comes to the companies we own. shyt we even code switch when haggling for high priced items. I mean black folks code switch at the car dealership all the time when haggling prices.

Hell the coli favorite youtubers code switch with their vocabulary when they get on fox news or some cable talk show then when they are on youtube shooting the bull shyt with they fans.

I’ve worked in a semi professional role for about 20 years now and we were challenging it back then. One of the guys I trained that came in with me and is my best friend right now came in tatted up and wearing them oversized throwback jerseys to work and shyt lol. I remember one day I came in with my old army pt shirt on abd camo pants rolled up to my knees. The manager told me not to wear that again:mjlol: They tried to change the dress code it didn’t work. At my second job in the field, I wore bow ties and all kinds of shyt.. still got treated bad in some situations.., started wearing what I wanted and nothing really changed. We’ve definitely come a long way with behavior in the workplace for real though. That code switching stuff is something else.
