I think she just got tired of everyone bucking her and not taking her serious etc but what broke her is those pirates handing her over to the british. She kinda became a foil/reverse for Flint. Flint said fukk the brits, burn it all. She said fukk these pirates kill em all lol

Okay, I had to make sure before I read what you said, once I saw that it was dialogue of some sort.

But I love Silver's arc. I actually hated him early on in the series. When the show starts, it was obvious that he was the main character. But then once the first season gets going, he's overshadowed by everybody. Flint, Vane, Rackham, Bonnie, the prostitute madam, Guthrie, Mr. Scott, Flint's right-hand man, literally everybody.

I even started thinking that Silver wasn't really the main character like I originally thought. But the way they weaved his story, his arc, and deftly maneuver the viewer into seeing that he is indeed the main character later in the series is masterful.
