HBCUs are struggling to even stay afloat these days with the lack of support in all areas - why should their sports be a priority when the dorms are falling apart?

Second, I am going to disagree with your generalization that HBCU's are bad schools. Based on my experience they are great schools, and when I look at myself and my peers who are doing very well for themselves in their respective fields it supports my opinion.
Nothing wrong with dialogue I'm just telling you you're making a point to me that I never argued here. Glad them white folks took care of ya'll tho

Exception not the rule. The top schools put the most players in the draft year after year. Manning Brady luck Brees Rodgers AP Shady McCoy Megatron OBJ Julio AJ Cam Luke Suh Gronk the list goes on all played in power 5 conferences at big schools.

you're trying to act like every school in america that isn't an HBCU is a historically racist school like clemson
and your anecdotal experience is nice and all but you can't reach out to a community that's financially disadvantaged with absurdly high tuition rates when its clearly not worth the value when you look at what you're getting dollar for dollar and pretend you're doing people a favor.
Bring the sports up and the money for the Dorm rooms will follow.They are and they shouldn't.

its only the exception & not the rule because we make it so by going to their schools. Look back at the history of the SWAC etc. Those schools had poor funding & everything but still filled the League up with talent because of their ability back in the day. The only way I support brehs going to those schools is if they are paid out of poverty. Other than that they should be going to HBCU's because it helps black people & their posterity more in the long run.

and to act like all large universities operate at historically racist levels nonstop like clemson, alabama, texas, arkansas, etc is just being disingenuous and you know it. racism is everywhere. schools like clemson actively support and encourage it. that's the difference.
