The point from my original post is that I made no mention of student athletes.
Calm down. You have a cool little presence in this thread. Just opening up some dialogue

They are and they shouldn't.bu but but @dora_da_destroyer said HBCU's are outdated & shouldn't even have athletics
ignore HBCUs and send your kids to college where they can be met with blackface at parties brehs

Explain why any black high school graduate should go to a school like Clemson first. That's one of the most well-known clear as day racist institutions in America. Also, the entire country is racist - saying that there's some magical place in America, or the world, that's completely free of the uphill battle of racism is ludicrous.
HBCUs are generally bad schools. There's no getting around that. The *IDEA* of HBCUs is great and they had their time. But if your goal is to help the community, yourself, or simply move on then make the best investment.

you can't make the League from anywhere if you're good enough. The school don't make you, you make the school
uh noIf you re-read my post, thats exactly what I said..and if you re-read your post, you said exactly the opposite. You singled out the south
Second, I am going to disagree with your generalization that HBCU's are bad schools. Based on my experience they are great schools, and when I look at myself and my peers who are doing very well for themselves in their respective fields it supports my opinion.
Bring the sports up and the money for the Dorm rooms will follow. They are and they shouldn't.
HBCUs are struggling to even stay afloat these days with the lack of support in all areas - why should their sports be a priority when the dorms are falling apart?![]()
uh no
you're trying to act like every school in america that isn't an HBCU is a historically racist school like clemson
and you're anecdotal experience is nice and all but you can't reach out to a community that's financially disadvantaged with absurdly high tuition rates that is clearly not worth the value when you look at what you're getting dollar for dollar and pretend you're doing people a favor.
don't work like that. unless you're a winning D1 program, you're most likely losing a ton of money in sports.Bring the sports up and the money for the Dorm rooms will follow.
You got to start some where.still have no clue how black people let their kids go to schools like clemson...

Exception not the rule. The top schools put the most players in the draft year after year. Manning Brady luck Brees Rodgers AP Shady McCoy Megatron OBJ Julio AJ Cam Luke Suh Gronk the list goes on all played in power 5 conferences at big schools.
If you read my posts I'm telling you exactly what I am saying. I'm not "trying" to act like anything. I'm doing God's work giving you negroes facts.

there's no reason to go to a historically racist school like clemson at all if you're blackSo you dont know why non student athletes go to any "big down south school brimming with racism" which btw, also plagues the majority of large white universities, and yet you turn around and shyt on HBCU's. Ok so tell us, what's the answer for formalized higher education.
You got to start some where.
So what should we do since we want a higher education and the HBCUs are awful and the PWI are all racist?
secondly
there's no reason to go to a historically racist school like clemson at all if you're black
