It's much deeper than single mothers, that's just a symptom of a bigger problem that can easily be seen when you look at the Black countries worldwide.

Yeah, I know you can see the same stuff in countries with third world conditions like Africa, Eastern Europe, Mexico, South America, the Caribbean.

But they all have the same thing in common, poor upbringing, poor parenting.

It can be deeper than single mothers rhetoric all you want, but its not an impossible fix or else every child in the ghetto would be a low life.

I think he made some bad choices but AT THE same time I've been in his shoes. Even when you get that 2nd chance at life it either builds you up or destroys you. I nearly lost my life 5-6 years ago. After I felt better I partook in a lot of drinking, partying, random sex, and some light drug use (outside of weed). Sometimes those event ultimately crush you. My friend's ex-boyfriend also survived cancer to only become a delinquent drunk. The funny part was before he got cancer, homie was a very good high school and university student. For some reason he just flipped the switch after surviving cancer and turned into a DUI douchebag that made her bail him out of jail and cheated on he with ratchet women.

It its tough to survive stuff like that and even the aftermath can be just as bad as fighting it. I strongly encourage people not pass such harsh judgement, unless you had a life threatening illness that was slow and painful, you don't know the feeling.

Just my 2 cents.

Get this fake attention-whoring tear jerker bullshyt outta here :camby:

It's two wholly and completely different scenarios. You almost died because you couldn't kick a habit. He died because he purposely wanted to be a thug.

Which apparently the system "knew" and had denied him the opportunity for a transplant the first go round.

Then they decide to give him a chance and he does exactly what they said he'd do.

No...my bad.. they only said he wouldn't keep up with follow-up treatments.. this dude not only didn't keep up with the treatments as they said he wouldn't, he chose to use his second chance at life to hijack people and attempt to take someone else's life(an old lady at that)...

Not to mention there's no telling WHOSE life he STOLE when he was finally, and, in hindsight, wrongfully awarded the transplant. That was someone else's spot, someone who may no longer even be here because they couldn't get a transplant in time. Someone who most likely would've complied with Dr.'s orders.

So yeah, you're not plucking at anybody's heartstrings with your attempt to garner 'sympathy' for this situation..at least not mine.

And not like they needed any ammo at all, they hate us naturally..but..do you know the type of 'leverage' this gives that system for future denials of transplants for 'troubled' Black youth? :what:

This dude has ruined way more lives than just his.

Kick rocks dude.

Wrong time and wrong instance for all that 'but but but give him a break' shyt that you're trying.. and then the attempt to parallel it with YOUR completely different situation only makes you seem like an attention whore :scust:

Dude, look around you. Go into any Black majority country where the indigenous Black men should be running thangs and tell me who you see as the HNIC? Here's a hint: not Black women or Black men.

We're a matriarchal society. Are you going to admit women suck at leading society and led us to this situation or are you going to keep blaming men

^^^ on point. the more i learn about early childhood development the more i see this stuff is true. it all starts when we are very young and blacks have the cards stacked against them. my wife teaches in the polo grounds here in nyc and the story she tells me about these kids are so fukking sad man. she had a little girl last year in foster care who would throw tantrums if she was left alone for a second because she was scared of the "white man who was always staring at her".

there's a little girl in a 2nd grade special ed class on her floor who goes crazy everyday(also in foster care) and tried to stab her teacher and threw a chair at another student. she also says she wants to kill herself. a damn 7 year old! its really unfair because its an endless cycle thats hard to break out of. that little girl will get a very basic level of help so she can somewhat control her anger, and one day she will have babies. and on and on it will go.

BUT, i have a question for you. say this kid robbed and shot your grandma, are you going to remember everything you said in this post and forgive him?

Of course I would forgive him. Would I put him out of his misery? Of course. But as I caved his face in with a brick i would do my best to make him understand I was doing it out of love for my people, nothing more.

Basically.

Its about justice, not hate.

When I mete out justice, I have no hate in my heart. And I will pray he makes it to heaven.

Actually I wanted to say was that sometimes something like that happens, instead of you taking advantage of 2nd chance at life due to a medical miracle you end up doing the opposite. I cited 2 very relevant situation to the argument of it. My story is relevant to this case being discussed. Did I EXPLICITLY say he is clear of any wrong doing? No, plain and simple.. I was explaining what MIGHT have been in his mindset, might have been. I could be very wrong. Again I cited myself and another case of what could be in his mind state and cause someone from taking advantage of a 2nd chance at life to going on a path of personal destruction.

Honestly, where did I say I had some sort of habit. Where? I would like to see what made you think that. What would make you think I would care about what YOU think and to gain your sympathy? Tell me what indicates that, I would like to know.

I could be very wrong and you could be completely right. All I did was provide a personal opinions and example relevant to this case. My bad that I gave a different perspective lol.
