Black Uber/Lyft Drivers Being Too Comfortable Thread...

I take these shyts regularly on the way to and from the Atlanta Airport ever week. nikkaz will turn up the music when I get in the car, start rappinn and singing along, driving faster, and playing explicit shyt when I get in.

Now I don't mind because I like for my driver to be comfortable but I wonder if they'd do that shyt if it were a cac...

I'm usually dressed down so that probably contributes to the shyt and maybe they wouldn't do it if I was in a business suit, but I seriously doubt they'd do this shyt with non nikkaz.

Me: NYC but parents are Nigerian

I've always been bothered by this. People will blast music with explicit lyrics just anywhere. I'm cool if your windows are up in your car and you playing it but if your windows are down please lower music a tad bit and refrain from playing shyt with lots of cusswords. Even worse when there are elders and little kids nearby.

If my windows are down i lower the volume significantly especially since i dont like to bring too much attention to myself in public
But if you're an Uber or Lyft driver providing a service i'm gonna need you to be a bit more professional because you are technically working

THe minute i detect an accent i ask them where they are from. Usually sparks some good conversations. One mofo (older nigerian breh in his upper 50s) wanted to hook me up with his daughter as he was saying she dates a bunch of "useless clowns". Edit: He didnt used the word clown. I'm not trying to endure or participate in some bullshyt to authorize my black card while receiving a paid service.

We don't respect each other on a certain level and we'll do a half-ass work for one another, often. Especially if the job has the perception of two people from separate economic classes.
