Black Uber/Lyft Drivers Being Too Comfortable Thread...

For me it’s West African, especially Nigerian, drivers, dudes see my name and want to have a conversation the entire ride.

Driver: *sees my name* Where are you from?!
Me: NYC but parents are Nigerian
Driver: How often do you go home?
Me: *god please don’t do this to me*
Driver: *continues to talk and ask questions for duration of ride*

I hate the super talkative Uber drivers but as I’ve taken Uber in several states I prefer the out of state Uber drivers to ny ones. They take you for granted here in nyc

Atlanta Uber drivers are different. One of them immediately told me he dropped off some strippers that tried to get him to go home with them (whatever nikka) and how they were shaking their asses in the backseat... I’m a woman and he felt comfortable doing that. nikkas asking me if I need a weed connect while I’m down there.

Yooo, I swear I just got a lyft, I go to get in the back and she got a whole car seat and baby back there talking about “my bad, I forgot to turn the app off” ass. The ass was looking right but she 41 and got her kid coming along on rides so I just tipped her and kept it moving but it was the first time I’ve seen this before
