Dubbed anime is a blight on society and weakens the minds of our youths

Man, I tried all kinds of stuff that I wouldn't have if I wasn't friends with those dudes... Dungeons, Warhammer, Settlers of Catan, etc. Even though I don't really play anymore, I still occasionally collect and trade Magic cards. The artwork on some of them is amazing.

Man I remember I was watching Fist of the North Star and to hear these fools talking perfect English Kenshiro bout to kill those fools with the pressure points talkin about "take that and that haha haaaa"


As far as the card games go I never got into them..I favored the turn-based RPGs on handhelds though.

SDCC? I have a blast every time I go. Our numbers are growing, slowly but surely; I love seeing other black people.

No, we went to the one in DC. I was actually surprised at the amount of black people I saw especially the ones that dressed up. It was actually pretty cool.

1. Black nerdy females are extremely rare.
2. They usually don't want to date other black nerdy types, they want the typical black male most black women want. Just like the typical male nerd isn't looking for a female Steve Urkel.
3. They are heavy on that and if they aren't usually aren't very pro black. Not like that should matter to most of you guys in your non-Coli lives.

Summary; just hope to meet a regular black chick that casually likes Anime or something.

It's fugazi, regardless of how "well" it's dubbed.... you got a dude who looks like fukking Sonny Chiba yet sounds like Dennis the Menace. It makes no sense. If you're going to dub, get some Japanese actors that speak English. That was one of my beefs with the dubbed version of Naruto.

This is why I just avoid dub; I know some people say that they can't follow along if they have to read what people are saying, but I guess I've been watching anime for so long that I don't even notice the subs after awhile.

Assuming that women can do better is fallacious. The grass is not necessarily greener on the other side. Male-ruled societies, sometime smart and sometimes dumb, have proven to work in time. Women-ruled societies have not. And there are supporting reasons for these decisions, even if those reasons aren't obvious. While I don't preclude women having leadership roles or contributing ideas, females are prone to issues men simply don't have. Women are fickle, weak-minded, easily manipulated and treacherous. Women can't run shyt for black people. Nobody is putting any society in the hands of black women. It would be like putting the world's last Bible in the hands of a crack addict b/c that's how much nikkas mean to illogical, emotion driven women. On the other hand a film is set in feudal Japan and everyone is speaking English ..you'd swear you heard a Samurai mention twitter lmao.

I force my (female) friends to watch stuff with me, but we usually alternate. If I have to watch Dancing with the Stars or Dance Moms, then they gotta watch Doctor Who or some Fullmetal Alchemist (subbed, not dubbed... dubbed is for the birds). Some of them have actually started watching it on their own without me even prompting, or they'll ask me for suggestions on what to watch, and I have to admit, it makes me a little proud that I've introduced them to it

Most of my male friends work in the same industry I do (IT), so we actually bonded over some geek stuff. A few years ago, about 6 of us had a standing invitation that once a week, we'd grab lunch and then go chill at the comic book shop that was down the street from our job... just shoot the shyt, see what they had in stock, and get our nerd on. One of them even convinced me to try Magic the Gathering, but that was just too much LOL
