Myself. fukk 12(1)!
:russ: It's really difficult to find folks like you outside of the net. My husband isnt into anime/manga or games as heavy as I am. I need a friend who can come over n watch stuff with me and lust over guys like Levi or Sebastian Michaelis :mjcry:
I force my (female) friends to watch stuff with me, but we usually alternate. If I have to watch Dancing with the Stars or Dance Moms, then they gotta watch Doctor Who or some Fullmetal Alchemist (subbed, not dubbed... dubbed is for the birds). Some of them have actually started watching it on their own without me even prompting, or they'll ask me for suggestions on what to watch, and I have to admit, it makes me a little proud that I've introduced them to it :to:

Most of my male friends work in the same industry I do (IT), so we actually bonded over some geek stuff. A few years ago, about 6 of us had a standing invitation that once a week, we'd grab lunch and then go chill at the comic book shop that was down the street from our job... just shoot the shyt, see what they had in stock, and get our nerd on. One of them even convinced me to try Magic the Gathering, but that was just too much LOL

here's a legitimate question, do you understand why women are valued?
Here's another legitimate question. Do you agree with societies current positioning of blacks (their value)? You and I both know the answer to that, so why can't *I* disagree with the societies current positioning of WOMEN?

Serious question breh, have you ever asked any of the black women you know (family/friends/relationships) to talk to you about how they feel about themselves? Because you'd be shocked to know that there are a lot of our women walking around who are lonely, depressed, have no support system, and feel like no one (including black men) gives a fukk about them.

You say it's them just whining but it really isn't. A lot of our women are hurting and suffering in silence dealing with emotional issues that we never have to face. We live in a society where black women KNOW that America doesn't give a fukk about them, especially poor black women in the hood. And some of them don't believe we as black men don't give a fukk about them either.

When me and my girl first met she used to tell me how people would say slick shyt about her because her skin is dark (and it came from black men and black women). An ex told me that her grandma used to tell me how her grandma would get mad because she didn't put a perm in her 5 year old daughter's hair.

I think you're forgetting all the Coli brehs are making 200k a year, only sleep with the finest PAWGs, and are all perfect.
Most people in general have a lot of issues, and hidden problems, Black women are a marginalised group, by society as a whole and even in their own communities. Obviously, a lot of Coli brehs are the same ones giving these women grief, and some are probably the root of the women in their lives' issues.
When I really start to get close to a lot of women, I find out a lot of this. A lot of their problems have been dismissed by mothers, fathers, bothers, sisters, boyfriends and girlfriends, even husbands (and wives). If you can't even lend an ear to the Black women in your lives that an anonymous blog can, you should be thrown in the bushes. These are out daughters, sisters, cousins, friends, girlfriends, and wives, and they're letting out a few of their thoughts, a little bit of pain. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm here for them, 100%
You're right @bdizzle

Tell me that you think that this point in current time has led to a wondrous society. If you answer no, then tell me who has had majority rule. Pardon me for quoting a Jewish person, but "the definition of insanity is repeating the same mistakes over and over and expecting different results".

So your anti men? Anti black man? and you post your feelings on a male message board towards black males because what? Like what do you seriously get out of the way you are interacting with your opposition? If anything you hurt the true future women leaders because you spew hate and mentality to get back at men.

I only lend an ear to a Black woman when her pain and problems aren't self-inflicted.

Otherwise, I don't have time for it.

Just be a listening ear. Many of us get slapped with that "strong Black woman" label and are expected to suffer shyt in silence, as if the burdens that weigh upon us won't eventually make us crack. I don't have a problem making my voice heard, but sometimes when other black women voice some of the things they go through (not to complain or blame, just to get them out of their heads and to see if other people are going through the same thing), other folks are quick to dismiss their feelings as unimportant, and that lack of empathy or simple understanding makes them hesitant to reach out to others and internalize those negative feelings to a fault.

Simply being available to listen to someone's struggles can make them feel better and let them know that their issues are valid.

Let me get this straight you not wanting women to lead doesn't make you anti-woman, but me wanting women to lead makes me anti-man?

Do you feel like you can talk to your home girls about those types of problems?

dont answer my questions with more questions. once again, do you understand why women are valued? simple question, because whining to society (or more importantly, black men) wont inherently increase your value.

they are unimportant :yeshrug: those particular issues such as beauty standards and colorism seem to be the ONLY issues black women have w/white supremacy. if cacs desired yall more and put y'all on a pedestal, what would be your beef w/society?

Just as your position in society won't be increased by doing the same. I ask you questions to bring your "logic" to it's logical conclusion. It tends to make one see the err in their theories.
