That is what the video showed, that is what Janay and Ray both said happened, that is what witnesses at the table where it started attested to, this is why the police did not press charges.
If Janay was a man, this wouldn't have even been an issue and Janay would have been the one charged.
If you switch Janay and Rice's sex and have the same thing happen Janay would have been the one going to jail for assault and DV, not Ray, because Janay initiated the physical violence, which is common in the US seeing that women initiate 70% of the violence in domestic disputes. LOL, I have no problem with feminists who are legal egalitarians, if you aren't and you are arguing for government privilege under the "protected class" of female I have an issue.
The Janay and Ray Rice situation is only a "controversey" or injustice if you literally think Ray Rice has no right to not be hit by a woman, yet Janay has every right to hit him and not be hit back in return.

This is 100 shyt and honestly all this rhetoric where we find ways to justify, ignore and marginalize female on male violence is very dangerous. There are a lot of women who've had their shyt wrecked by men who don't give af about made up societal talking points simply because this sentiment creates an entitled attitude within women that prevents them from having some sense and keeping their hands to themselves.

What was pointed out is that Bill put on the hat of valor when it benefited him. That's the point. If you're going to go all in and "act" on universal wrongs, don't just do so when its beneficial to you.

I get what you're saying, but it has nothing to do with this thread. Bottomline, many heads front like their principled when more often than not, it's self serving. It doesn't resonate across all things for them. They pick and choose when to speak on it and fall back if it affects someone they "like" or dislike.
