This is a dumb way of thinking. Even if you are just motivated by profit, going there and setting up a business or building infrastructure helps Africans by providing them with jobs and inching their lives closer to Western modernity. It's mutually beneficial.

Because western modernity is objectively better than having little to no infrastructure, no jobs, and no way of adding value to natural resources.

What I mean by pushing them closer to western modernity, unlike white colonists, isn't forcing White ideals and culture upon them, but it is setting them up with modern technology.

what you are referencing as western modernity is part of culture, so yes you are forcing this on them. furthermore, do you think they live wild in huts and just sit around and not work?
