The funniest thing is this one using the 1999 lockout season as an old benchmark of scoring in the 1990's lmao. for the record, the bad boys of the 1980's were giving up about 100 a game and lead the league back then. It's hysterical also the notion that 260 pound lebron couldn't check guards and forwards weight 200-230 pounds or that he couldn't handle defense from said players. there was no zone defense back then either. much more a one on one game. getting beat off the dribble meant giving up a basket frequently since guys had to be glued to their own position. Trying to cherry pick only missed shots in big moments, a bad playoff game (every great had a bad playoff game somewhere. Kobe shot 6/24 with 5 turnovers in game 7, and jordan shot 5/21 in a game 7 once), is laughable too. Yeah allen hit the 3 to tie, but james had 16 that quarter already. trying to discredit defenders in this era while using no numbers, but just talking shyt is pitiful too.:pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit:

This thread wasn't needed and isn't anything new.

I didn't know there was a such thing as a “needed” thread.
I'm a notorious Lebron hater and Kobe stan but Lebron is 100% in the top 10 when his career is wrapped up.

The author of the comment doesn't disagree:

By the end of his career he can easily be a top 5 player but he is not even top 10 yet.
