:mjlol: Russell being that high on the list is strictly off reputation. In modern times, how many rings would it have took for people to say Ben Wallace was better than Shaq? Russell was an elite clean up man on great teams but he wouldn't be considered better than Wilt, Tim Duncan, Hakeem or Kobe(elite on both ends), Shaq or Larry Bird today. Leaving Kobe right outside the top 10 and right behind Steph seems like rage bait.

Bron being number 2 is strictly based on accumulated. Playing long enough to accumulate numbers while jumping handpicked team to hand picked team doesn't automatically put him over Magic, Bird, Kobe, or Duncan. If it takes Tim Duncan 21 pts to win a game and it takes another 30 pts to win a game (along with stat padding) does that make the 2nd player automatically better? Does Jokic being the center of an offense that runs all scoring and passing thru him automatically make him better than Hakeem or Duncan who were elite offensively and defensively but weren't put in position to be point centers? Shaq and Kobe got punished when it comes to MVPs because they played together. Curry and KD too. Magic wins 3 MVPs playing with Kareem. Bron goes to play with Wade and is immediately given 2 MVPS straight. Steve Nash has 2 but Wade doesn't have any. This should be more nuanced than number watching

Yeah but .559 shooting percentage and higher win share and PER. What argument is for Kobe to be better? Hell their playoffs point averages are same except Kareem averaged double rebounds and 3 blocks a game.

Top 5 NBA players should have arguments for being the GOAT, Kobe isn’t on that level.

These young cats going to push Kobe further down because most of the arguments putting him up there is solely down to aura and not on court achievements or production.

2 Finals MVPs? :childplease: Career on life support before James Worthy and Magic Johnson came around :childplease: Never once going to the Finals without a top 75 player :childplease: I don't want to disrespect Kareem but yall put Kobe through the Spanish Inquisition then don't apply none of those arguments to Magic and Kareem.
