I will never understand why some people on the coli act like there’s this racist agenda to downplay Kobe’s greatness…as if these white people are putting a bunch of John Stocktons over him.

They’re all placing other black athletes above him.

It’s because some people just can’t grasp that some people (including black people) don’t rank him as high as they do. It couldn’t be that they legitimately don’t, that is inconceivable to them, so they pull the weak move of inserting race into the issue as an attempt to invalidate the opinion of anyone that doesn’t rank him as highly as they do.
