Are y'all ignoring Trumps history of racism or just being dumb?

From the perspective I spoke from...yes

A lot of black people don't know the ins and outs on Trump. Main reason is he hasn't really been attacked on those issues in the Republican primary. In general, the average voter is disillusioned with what is going on with the Democrat party.
Remember this stance is depending on if Sanders doesn't win the nomination

Aww, come on, man. You know you can't discuss things in context with low information voters. It's more fun to sit here and pretend like Hillary Clinton once said that all black youths are super predators. This helps with the victim narrative that has clearly served blacks so well during this election cycle!

Matey, so many cops have been thrown in jail and given stiff sentences solely due to the über-successful and mind-shatteringly logical activism of BLM, I am considering developing an app that alerts me to every time the political establishment caves to their demands!

Goddamn, I cannot believe this rotten bytch painted all black youths as super predators! She literally stood up and gave a speech saying all black youths are super predators!

The entire point of the super predator label was to paint black people as having inherently extra violent tendencies so therefore they must be locked up as long as can be at the first chance and kept in the system, the point of the super predator myth wasn't to go after killers, it was to lock up children because apparently it was inevitable they'd eventually become super violent thugs murdering babies in the street

Her specific use of the word superpredator is promotion of a racist theory that was being pushed at the time, once again I think you're ignorant to the context

I think you're making up context to suit your narrative. It doesn't work that way. Im sure the parents of children who lost their lives to gang violence have called gang members much worse than superpredators, are they racist too? There are plenty of reasons to shyt on Hillary, but this is embarrassing.

These people aren't black.

I'm very much black. The reason this is a topic of discussion is because
1. Sanders is running a fine campaign against Clinton
2. Democrats playing themselves by utilizing Obama as a symbol more than a pragmatic force for black people.

Honestly, I have no idea how a sensible person could ever vote for Trump but the political climate is such a joke, that he actually is fitting in with all of this crap. It's sad to see this many Americans voting for Trump just because of how sick we've become with the typical politician

Why should they? At least the republicans aren't pretending to like black people and we don't vote for them. We vote for democrats so we should present our problems to them.

You're showing your naivety. You take your issues to both parties and see who'll give you the better deal. But, Negroes will still vote for Hillary anyway. I'm so tired of the posturing.

They don't do any pretending. They make it clear that don't give a shyt about black people but they know blacks aren't going anywhere because the other side is way worse.
Nah i think they play the part well. Bernie Sanders was just rambling about blacks living in poverty as if that hasn't been the case for the past I don't know how many years.

Why should the republicans address our issues when over 90% of us don't vote for them? Do you have idea how politics work?
We give the democrats our votes overwhelmingly and therefore the right to pressurise them for change. The republicans don't owe us anything.

You give your votes overwhelmingly to the Dems which is why they don't do shyt for you. And, who will you run to? The Republicans? Negroes aren't smart enough to do that because they can't deal with Republican voters (not the Republican party leadership) telling them they don't like them.

I question the importance of the Black vote in coming years. As the Hispanic population grows, as the Asian population grows, the Black vote becomes less and less important. But, we, Black folks haven't gotten the memo. This could very well be the last Presidential election where Black issues will be able to gain traction politically.
