Those are not excuses. I'm explaining to you what is.

You'll notice in every anti-NBA thread, there's at least one poster who shows up just to make jokes about how bad the league is, either directly or indirectly using the NFL as a reference point. The countless amounts of ratings threads we've had over the last 18 months are proof of this. NFL fans were constantly in them shytting on the NBA.

You're one of those people, it's why your hit-dog-holler-ass quoted me in the first instance.

Insult you?

I was merely referring to what you classify yourself as. You didn't enter this thread to have an honest debate, so stop pretending otherwise.

I posted in this thread to point out your aimless bs, that's all.

How hilarious NFL fans only showed up in this thread to say bu-bu-but the NBA would be doing the same thing, instead of you know, condemning the NFL for actually doing it. If the NBA pulls some shyt like this, they'd deserve the smoke too. But they haven't.

Why's it so hard for some of y'all to address what is?

If you take away Trump and MAGA, what did this twerp do that merited this? He doesn’t have any outstanding accomplishments. He wasn’t famous aside from people who follow politics too close. What a sick time we are in the midst of in this shyt hole country.

he's a college dropout, grifting racist. MAGA is the party of the uneducated, so no wonder he was able to easily bamboozle these rubes.

Something being "universally respected" I think is an impossible barrierl. He did things that the people in power liked. That's enough.
It’s not an impossible barrier because we used to celebrate people who did that. That's the point.

Kirk didn’t do that and doesn’t deserve any of this reverence. Kirk wasn't universally famous until he got popped.

Yeah I disagree, with the first part.

The second part, he doesn't need to be universally famous he just needs to be famous with the people in power.

When I say he doesn’t have any accomplishments, I mean passage of laws, creating something impactful, curing a disease. Something that is universally respected.

Unfortunately, he did have something that was "universally respected" - Christianity and the nationlism that it fronts.

It's particularly relevant here because of the political climate around the world with the rise of the Conservative tide. It's really less about Charlie Kirk, himself, and more what what he represents and the burning of the effigy of what folks stood for when he died, in their own country. The organizer of the far-Right rally in London recently (100+k in attendance; one of the biggest in UK's history) even used Kirk's death to mobilize support.

eah I disagree, with the first part.
Remember when Prince died? He had the world wearing purple. That’s the “impossible standard,” we used to celebrate. Muhammad Ali? David Bowie? Even Hulk Hogan.

Kirk wasn’t that at all.

I understand that. That's ultimately what @KFBF is saying. I'm still saying I reject that because that's not what you honor.

What Kirk was is famous to those on a certain algorithm. Like when Kevin Samuel died.

ONLY 4 fukkING TEAMS
DIDNT HONOR THIS fakkit?

I wonder i

To be fair with context, the away teams wouldn’t count. So technically it’s only 12 teams that did.
Teams that did:
Dallas
Miami
New Orleans
New York
Pittsburgh
Tennessee
Arizona

Teams that didn’t:
Baltimore
Detroit
Cincinatti
Indianapolis
Kansas City
Minnesota

Not sure what Green Bay did, and there are two games today (Vegas and Houston being the home teams).
