Ive heard stories from black soldiers fighting that war.

My grandmothers second husband fought in that war and he commited suicide in the 80s by lighting himself up

He was never right after vietnam and he went thru a lot of racism.

Just imagine what black people were going thru in this country during that time and how cacs treated us and had the audacity to force us to fight their war while getting treated like shyt by these cacs

My dad is a Vietnam vet. He survived a lot of combat on the frontline but he never really talks about it much. After hearing the story of the GI that had been skinned alive with animals and insects feeding off him and as a teenager making the decision to end his life, I get why he doesn't talk on it.
